1. Nowhere in the Torah or in the words of any Hebrew prophet does Yah forbid the Hebrews from following a non-Hebrew Prophet either before or after exile. Those that claim this must bring the evidence.
2. Just because Yah warns us that the Ishmaelites (Arabs) would take crafty counsel against us as foes or enemies he clearly does not intend to tarnish all the Ishmaelites in this statement because obviously not all of them will be doing this. So, we can only say those who have taken to carry out that plot are being referred to in Psalms 83. To try to extend this to all Ishmaelites is injustice.
3. If we are to take Psalms 83 to mean all Ishmaelites (Arabs) and we are not to follow them and take all of them as enemies so that we cannot mix with them then the one who gave us the law, Moshe, broke this imaginary law first because he took an Arab (Midianite as a wife). So, this would be extreme hypocrisy on behalf of Yah and Moshe. If they are our enemies why did Yah allow Moshe (Musa) to marry an Arab. Why did Yah allow this if they are all our enemies. If Moshe can marry them then are they still our enemies? Psalms 83:10-11
10 Do to them as [to] Midian; as [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin in the brook Kishon. |
11They were destroyed in En-Dor; they were [as] dung on the ground. |
4. The Ishmaelites are directly related to us so too the Midianite through Abraham’s other wife Keturah why would Yah only restrict us from marrying Ishmaelites because they are our enemies when Midianites are also the enemy of Yah. The logic falls down at this point.
5. Deuteronomy (Devarim) 18:15-19 is very clear in that it makes a distinction between brothers that are within (Israelites) and brothers outside of the Israelites. This is made very clear in this passage that the Israelites have brothers who are outside of them. But what could that mean. It is well known that the Ishmaelites and the Children of Israel spring from two brothers and one grandfather. The sons of Abraham (Avrahom) were Yitzak and Ishmael they were two brothers and from them sprung the Ishmaelites and the Children of Israel. This is a fact which is irrefutable. The passage makes the distinction of your brothers within you and your brothers (outside), this is clear within the text. Why did Yah need to make that distinction at all if he was indeed referring to the same people? The brothers of the Israelites were the Ishmaelites but they were external to the House of Israel hence not within. Does the Torah say that the Ismalites and us the Hebrews are brothers? Yes! In Bereishit (Genesis) 16:11-12 it is made very clear that Ishmail and Isaac are brothers and this word is used explicitly.
“And an angel of Yahweh said to her “Behold, you will conceive, and give birth to a son; you shall name him Ishmael. For Yahweh has heard your prayer.” And he shall be a wild ass of a man; his hand against everyone, and everyone’s hand against him; and over all his brothers shall he dwell.””
15 A prophet from among you, from your brothers, like me, the Lord, your God will set up for you; you shall hearken to him.
16According to all that you asked of the Lord, your God, in Horeb, on the day of the assembly, saying, “Let me not continue to hear the voice of the Lord, my God, and let me no longer see this great fire, so that I will not die.”
17And the Lord said to me, “They have done well in what they have spoken.
18 I will set up a prophet for them from their brothers like you, and I will put My words into his mouth, and he will speak to them all that I command him.
19And it will be, that whoever does not hearken to My words that he speaks in My name, I will exact [it] of him.
This passage also tells us that we pleased Yah when we requested him to send someone like Moses to receive revelation and to take the burden of revelation from us as it was difficult to bear. This someone like Moses cannot be from Israel at all because Yah says so in Devarim 34:10-12
And there was no other prophet who arose in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, |
11as manifested by all the signs and wonders, which the Lord had sent him to perform in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and all his servants, and to all his land, | יאלְכָל־הָֽ֨אֹתֹ֜ת וְהַמּֽוֹפְתִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר שְׁלָחוֹ֙ יְהֹוָ֔ה לַֽעֲשׂ֖וֹת בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם לְפַרְעֹ֥ה וּלְכָל־עֲבָדָ֖יו וּלְכָל־אַרְצֽוֹ:
12and all the strong hand, and all the great awe, which Moses performed before the eyes of all Israel.
So, the Israelites were promised a prophet like Moses (Moshe) but Yah says explicitly that there will not and has never arisen a prophet like Moses in Israel again. This leaves the idea that the prophet like Moshe (Musa) from their brothers no way for it to be an Israelite. But it also does mean that Yah promised this prophet to us; so, where is he. Unless that prophet is still to come but even if he is still to come it will not be from the House of Israel. So where could he come from if not from their brothers just as Yah says the Ishmaelites. So, the real question is: does Yah lie and not keep his promises?
Jesus speaks of one that will come after him
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you.
John 14:16-17
Here Jesus (Yeshua) tells us that he will pray to the father to send the Spirit of Truth. The Spirit of Truth cannot be the Christian idea of the Holy Ghost (not a real man) because the bible defines clearly what a spirit is and who is a true spirit and who is a false spirit. This is defined in 1 John 4:1-6:
“4 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit[a] of truth and the spirit of falsehood.”
This passage is interesting for many reasons because it defines a spirit of truth, a prophet, but also it clearly outlines and gives a test of a true prophet. That true prophet will state that Jesus (Yeshua) came in flesh not as a god or as God, the passage says that this is a spirit (prophet) of truth. There is only one Prophet who fits accurately all of those criteria, Prophet Muhammed (saw). He taught that Yeshua came as himself not as a god or as God but as a real man in the flesh. The passage also goes on to say that those prophets who say that Yeshua didn’t come in flesh but it was God who came in flesh are not spirits of truth (prophets of Yah) but indeed spirits of anti-Christ, deceivers. Is this not Paul’s teachings. Also, no prophet has ever come to a people as a Ghost or disembodied, every prophet was human.
As we can see from above the bible defines a spirit that teaches as a prophet not a disembodied ghost. So the spirit of truth is a man who will teach the true followers of Yeshua things that Jesus could not tell them at that time because they would not be ready.
12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.”
John 16:12-14
Jesus also says that the spirit cannot come until he goes and he sends him forward. So, this spirit is not able to inhabit the same space and time as Yeshua. So this cannot be the same spirit that visits Mary and gives glad tidings of the baby Yeshua and makes her pregnant because the Christian concept of the Holy Ghost is co-equal to Yeshua in their theology so how can they not inhabit the same space and time when they are meant to be the same person.
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
John 16:7 There is only one person who fits all the above Torah criteria without any intellectual gymnastics and that is the Prophet Muhammed (saw). He is from the line of Ishmael who is the brother of Yitzak, Prophet Muhammed came after Yeshua and spoke of Yeshua in line with the test of a true Prophet as laid down on 1 John 4:1-6. Prophet Muhammed was the most similar to Moshe (Musa) as he received a whole law from scratch as no other prophet in Israel did so and no other prophet was like Moshe in Israel ever again according to Deverim (Deuteronomy) 34. So, the only Prophet who fits the Spirit of Truth who will come after Yeshua and teach the Israelites is an Ishmalite prophet. And, if Yeshua was talking about another Prophet from Israel then why did he not say what tribe and his name, this would have been very easy for him to do.
20 And regarding Ishmael, I have heard you; behold I have blessed him, and I will make him fruitful, and I will multiply him exceedingly; he will beget twelve princes, and I will make him into a great nation.
21But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year.”
Ishmael will be a great nation in the sight of Yah and Yah gave him a blessing. This does not sound as if the whole nation of Ishmael will be an enemy to Yah. Some definitely will be but all of the Ishmaelites, no. Bereishit (Genesis) 17: 20-21.
